Air Raid is a pass first offense can be prolific. In recent years, Texas Tech has set numerous records with the Air Raid offense. This 4 wide or empty (5 wide) shotgun style of offense is centered around the quarterback and the receiving core. The running back in this offense has the primary responsibility of pass protection and then route running. It is hard to find a more entertaining offense than the Air Raid offense when it is executing.
