Position Specific Training
Position specific training is critical for the development of your position skills. Although there is athletic value in a lineman doing back peddling drills, it shouldn’t be a core exercise in the workout plan and is better suited for speed (DBs, QBs, RBs, WRs, etc.). Drills that are specific to your position help enhance your core strength, agility, balance and technique as it related to your position. To be a dominant player, it is important to be continually focusing on your conditioning, foot work and technique.
